Asher has been sick off and on since Saturday.
Today was a sick day.
Too bad for Asher that sick days around here are not pretty.
Notice the austere surroundings.
Down comforter. Deck of cards. DVD case stuffed with movies ad nauseum.
And Toaster Streudel.
In addition to being one tough mama, I'm a health nut. And I don't care who knows it.
I'm also quite strict. Only highly educational shows allowed around here.
And I don't care who knows that, either.
I also insist that my children wear clothes, even when they might not feel like it due to a high fever.
Because if I indulge these children of mine, they might learn to like the sick day.
And I just can't have that.

I have issues.. I love it when my kids are home sick! I get to be with them all day, play a game, love on them, visit and maybe even watch a little TV with them (at which point I usually fall asleep)!
I hope Asher has enjoyed his time at home! Something tells me he has!!

Sorry Asher isn't feeling well but he sure looks cute!
Brinley got sick as soon as we walked in the door from school Wednesday. Put her backpack down and 'got sick' all over it, her shoes, her coat. Didn't quite create a Kodak moment like old Asher with his sweet grin! Girl, it was baaaaad! LOL She looked up at me and said, "See? I toad you I what-nt peelin' good!".
I just hate when my boys are sick....what a beautiful boy Asher is. Sure hope he's feeling better soon.
