Meet Lexi.
She has bilateral clubfoot and spina bifida.
And she needs two sponsors.

From An Orphan's Wish:
Lexi is a happy, but a quiet girl. She has needed some time to adjust to our routine, learn how to play, and begin to trust others, so we’ve given her the time to do that before starting her treatment. She has spina bifida, clubfoot, and she is also incontinent. She can crawl a little, but mostly spends her time sitting playing on the floor.

Next, meet Zac.
He has arthrogryposis (AMC), a condition that affects his hips, knees, elbows, wrists, and also causes his clubfoot.
And he needs one sponsor.

From An Orphan's Wish:
Zac has settled into a good sleeping and feeding routine, and he is doing well. He eats very well, and has gained weight easily. When awake he enjoys spending time in one of the baby rocking chairs, watching what the other children are doing. The first step in his treatment was to cast his hands to get them into a more functional position. His hands have responded very well to casting, and are now correctly positioned. Casting of his feet has now begun.
*******
And meet Cassie.
She has a very small kneecap in the wrong place on one leg and no kneecap at all on the other leg.
Cassie needs two sponsors.

From An Orphan's Wish:
We have seen the most remarkable change in this little girl. Everyone talks about it and we are all encouraged as we’ve watched her progress. She arrived a very “shut down” little girl, who have never been heard to speak. She must have had led a very isolated life without much stimulation. After just a couple of days we began to see the changes and it hasn’t stopped. She speaks, joins in games with the others, plays well, follows instruction and is a totally different child. We have not started her treatment yet, as we wanted to give her time to settle and do some catching up.

Would you consider sponsoring one of these kiddos? The cost is $35/month and will help Lexi, Zac or Cassie complete the treatment they need. As a clubfoot child sponsor, you will receive monthly reports and pictures to follow along as your sponsored child receives the life-changing opportunity to have their feet corrected!
The length of sponsorship is as long as the child remains in treatment at An Orphan's Wish. Typically the children stay in the unit for 6 to 9 months before they are moved into foster care. So sponsorship is not a unending commitment. And you'll be awed at the changes in your sponsored child in such a short time.
It's truly an opportunity to give a gift to a child that will change their life. Just look at my Shepherd's before and after pictures to see the incredible difference serial casting can make!

Wonderful, Melissa!! Thanks so much for promoting An Orphan's Wish on your blog to get the word out about the awesome job they are doing with special needs kiddos :)
Let me know if you have any questions about sponsorship, I'd be glad to help in any way!
They are beautiful children... I'd take all of them home if I could. I'm still mad that I can't adopt international just because I am not a US citizen!
