I just can't help myself.
These things, these amazing thing keep, well... finding me. Even when I'm not looking.
The other day I was innocently perusing blogs and came across two incredibly special websites.
And because I love you, I thought I'd share.
Meet Bao Bao Bear. My friend Maia received this little guy girl bunny in the mail the other day for her daughter, QQ. They were both smitten from the get go and I can see why.
Bao Bao has a ladybug embroidered on his foot and comes holding a cream, pink or blue velour blanket, with an adoption tag attached.
Bao Bao also has a larger blanket that coordinates with his sweet self... embroidered on the front is, “A red thread connects your heart to mine.”
Ummm, is it just me, or is that crazy sweet? And perfectly perfect to take to China to help ease a tough transition for a certain little someone?
I'm just sayin'. If you're listenin'.
Anyone?
Moving on. I also stumbled across this cool site.

These are available now through November 27th, word to the wise.
From their website:
"Sweet Hope Truffles and Caramels are hand made and come gift boxed ready for Christmas. Our Truffles and Caramels are dressed for the holidays in 100% recycled material boxes and tied with a red bow."

There. I've shared. I feel so much better.
I'm not going down alone. I'm taking you with me.

11 little birdies told me...:
Yes, the truffles really are that good. I make them... I should know. They taste waaaay better than the pictures even make them look.
It's a "good" thing I'm broke right now! Otherwise, I'd be running out and buying all this stuff you've been linking to!!
What? You make these, Elle? What a small world!!
And if they really are THAT good, I'm gonna have to get me some... it's for a good cause, after all :)
Love the Bao Bao. Thank you for the information. I will hopefully be sending off a care package soon. He would be adorable..
I am having a Hat and ornament swap over on my blog. Please come join in the fun!
Blessings,
Jody
oh my WORD girl.
These are both scrumptious...in different ways.
Chocolate gets me through deployments and that bear...oh my....why is it that soft sweet things like that somehow fill the void when there is a little one MISSING from our lives?
(sigh)
I have to tell myself, SELF, we are not buying stuff like this right now because WE are saving money so we can BRING home another blessing. Self. Self! SELF! Do you hear me!?
Yes. I do have these kinds of conversations in my head. And no, I really don't care who knows it! :)
Tomorrow is the BIG craft bazaar locally....you should SEE this dining room table laden with serving pieces and beaded everything...lots of snowmen servers who will hopefully be finding their ways to new homes tomorrow! :) Josiah will turn 4 tomorrow and all he wants is to "sew(sell) de sibbaware so we can go to China fow(for) Ewaina!"
Is that super sweet or what?!
Thanks for sharing all your Christmas ideas...I just keep talking to myself as I read through them ;)
I think I'm going to have to stop reading your blog for a while. Thanks to you, my "for me" Christmas wishlist is a Suzanne Myers Name Charm Necklace on it. And the Baby Be Blessed doll page is in my bookmarks for if/when I bring home a daughter, now joined by Bao Bao. AND I can't pass up truffles like that... thanks a lot!! lol
please stop posting this stuff. You are causing my husband to spend a great deal of money and he has added you to his "Top 10 Most Evil People" List.
Oh...Baby Stella says HI!
A
